I am an applied microeconomist with research interests in health, labor, urban, and economic history. I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. Before that, I completed a Master's degree at NUI Galway and my Bachelor's degree at University College Dublin in Ireland.

Since 2022, I have been an Associate Professor of Economics and the Alma and H. Erwin Hale Chair at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Prior to coming to RPI, I was an Associate Professor at the University of Louisville.
